Flying Squad Conducts Surprise Inspection at Rohilkhand University Examination Centres; Two Students Caught Using Unfair Means
Bareilly: The Flying Squad constituted by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, conducted a surprise inspection of examination centres located on the university campus to ensure fair and transparent conduct of ongoing examinations and to curb incidents of cheating and other irregularities.
The inspection was carried out during the evening session on June 5, covering various examination centres across the university campus. During the surprise check at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, the squad caught two students allegedly using unfair means during the examination.
According to university officials, incriminating slips containing examination-related material were recovered from the students. Following the discovery, the Flying Squad initiated action against both candidates under the provisions of Unfair Means (UFM) regulations.
Apart from these two cases, examinations at all other centres were found to be proceeding smoothly and in accordance with university guidelines. The inspection team reported no major irregularities at the remaining venues.
The Flying Squad operation was supervised by Prof. Vijay Bahadur Singh Yadav. Members of the inspection team included Dr. Prempal Singh, Dr. Ashish Jain, Dr. Lalit Kumar Pandey, and Dr. Kamini Vishwakarma.

University authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining the integrity and credibility of the examination process and warned that strict action would continue to be taken against any student found violating examination rules.
The surprise inspections are part of the university’s ongoing efforts to ensure a fair academic environment and uphold the highest standards of examination discipline.
